Amazing
I have really enjoyed this game. Its a bit tricky at first, but youll catch on soon enough (tip: when jumping, tap the bottom, then tap the top instead of swiping for maximum height). The graphics are minimalistic, which is nice because it runs smoothly on my iPhone 4s. The story is just an excuse to have a skier kill aliens, but I dont care, because the gameplay is awesome.
Speaking of which, the gameplay.
Ohh, the gameplay.
It is, as far as I can tell, the most original thing on the App Store. You control your skier, not by launching him Angry Birds style at the enemy, but by controlling his posture. You can crouch, then stand up quickly to jump, but you need to be careful, because if he lands on his face, your run is history. You can do this by bending him forwards or backwards on your takeoff, or by twisting mid-air on the easier difficulties. If you can land, you have to hit the three aliens in every level in order to get all stars. Te aliens have excellent ragdoll physics, as stated in the description, and the removable heads and limbs are a nice touch. If you manage to take them down, you move to another level and another opportunity to knock robots senseless.
All in all, its one of my favourite games, due to the innovative gameplay, the difficulty, and the satisfaction that can only be attained by decapitating an alien robot with a supersonic skier.
